The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is launching a new series, Empowering Allies and Partners, to explore the challenges and opportunities of strengthening relationships with our allies and partners.

In an increasingly interconnected world, it is more important than ever to invest in strong relationships with our allies and partners. These relationships are essential for promoting peace, security, and prosperity around the globe.

The Empowering Allies and Partners series will bring together experts from a variety of fields to discuss the following topics:

  • The importance of allies and partners in the 21st century
  • The challenges of building and maintaining strong relationships
  • The opportunities for cooperation on a wide range of issues

The series will also explore the role of the United States in empowering allies and partners. The United States has a long history of working with allies and partners to achieve common goals. However, the changing global landscape requires a new approach to these relationships.

The Empowering Allies and Partners series will provide a platform for discussing the future of these relationships. The series will help to identify the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and will offer recommendations for how to build a more stable and equitable world.

The first event in the series will be held on September 21, 2023. The event will feature a keynote address by Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

We invite you to join us for this important series of discussions.
